Brianna Ramon, LPC

Owner, Therapist, She/Her

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in gorgeous South Austin. I completed my Masters of Arts in Counseling at St. Edward’s University in 2018. I completed a year of internship at the YWCA of Greater Austin where I had the privilege to work with a long-standing Austin organization and diverse, resilient clients. I worked for Center for Discovery, an eating disorder treatment center in Austin for a year, where I gained experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with anorexia, binge-eating disorder, bulimia, and ARFID. I am currently working with folks through my private practice virtually during COVID-19, as well as in-person.

Through my work, I have discovered that my passions are deeply rooted in issues I find personally and professionally enriching like body image and acceptance, sexual expression and pleasure, eating disorder treatment, and emotion regulation.

I love working with folks who wish to learn more about themselves, heal their relationship with their bodies, food or sexuality, or with those who have been told all their lives that they are “just too much”. I am body and LGBTQIA+ affirming and kink-aware.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking new recipes, hiking, snuggling my little boy Joaquin, spending time with my dogs, starting crafts and sometimes abandoning them, and roller skating (though I fall often).

What therapy means to me:

Therapy doesn’t have to always be heavy- sometimes we need humor, playfulness, snacks and blankets while we heal!
